So, if you are not from Europe, chances are that you have not heard about Erasmus+ yet.
Let's see what the official description of Eramus+ is.
It is one of initiatives by European Union, allowing students to go abroad to study, volunteer or participate in various projects not only in Europe but also in partner countries outside of European Union.
At one point of my life, I decided to just send my application for Erasmus + as I got a bit fed up with great, but routine life in Prague. I mean, why not actually as the European Unions supports you with little bit of money to study abroad.
Despite not being my top choice, I ended up in city of Uppsala, in Sweden. I chose this school, because Uppsala University is pretty famouse in my field for its UCDP (Uppsala Conflict Data Program), so I guessed it has to be a well-known research center, but apart from that, I didn't know much otherwise.
One month later, I have to say I am super happy that I have ended up here.
I'd like to share some of my tidbits from life here as the student life here is pretty unique and you will not find something similar anywhere else. Also, I'd like to share some aspects of living in Sweden or just to let my thoughts out a bit, so you might find a mashup of things here… nevertheless, I hope you find something that interests or inspires you :)
